Course for professionals

 

 

CAPTIVE partners worked together to create a 30-hour online course for professionals, aimed at raising awareness about the specificities of S/GBV among migrant and refugee women. The e-course is addressed at professionals and service providers who encounter migrant women victims/potential victims of S/GBV in their day-to-day work. It covers a range of topics, which include: S/GBV and its different forms; understanding women and perpetrators; trauma and re-traumatization; coping with competing narratives; how to approach cases involving migrant women victims/survivors of S/GBV; instruments of reframing and resilience; cultural differences; migration routes; elements of ethno-psychoanalysis; legislation and services. The course is in English, is FREE of charge, can be accessed on any device and completed without any time restriction.
